We combine comprehensive in-house engineering development skills with equipment support solutions and bespoke manufacturing capabilities to deliver cost effective, capable and robust solutions to a range of customer requirements. Our business is based on a combination of engineering solutions, the in-service support of complex systems and low volume manufacture of bespoke or niche products.

Robust engineering and production processes are in place to support the Marine Renewables sector through design and development to product manufacture.

Specialist strands of our business include:

  • The design and manufacture of complex Medium/High Voltage electrical, electronic and fibre optic enclosures.
  • The development, manufacture and support of underwater sensor and communication systems.
  • State of the art thermoplastic injection moulding and encapsulation techniques to produce high reliability cable terminations, splices and specialist mouldings.

Engineering Solutions

We offer a comprehensive mix of in-house engineering disciplines to address any customer problem. We are able to draw on the full breadth of engineering disciplines to design, develop, manufacture and set to work innovative solutions to customer requirements.

Production

We focus on high-variety, low and medium volume production. Working with electronic, mechanical, cable and acoustic assemblies, we have a history of complex repair work and new manufacture. 

Our specialists and multi-skilled staff carry out a broad range of assembly, wiring and test functions, offering customers unique expertise and facilities for the manufacture of equipment destined for demanding operational environments.

Bespoke Design Solutions

Utilising years of subsea expertise with the benefit of our extensive in house design, development and bespoke manufacturing facility, J+S are able to offer a complete solution whatever the requirement.

We design products and solutions to meet the demanding envirnments of the Marine Reneables industry.  All projects are supported by a dedicated team that follow the solution from concept to manufacture and onto installation and support.
