Our expertise and products include state of the art composites and ceramics very thin line arrays, digital hydrophones, low noise devices and HF sensors.

Transducer Design and Manufacture

A broad range of transducer configurations are available. Transducers can be designed and manufactured to meet our customers specific requirements utilising our extensive range of specialist facilities.

These facilities include:

controlled environment assembly areas, ceramic cutting and grinding, urethane and epoxy encapsulation, polymer overmoulding, plastic extrusion and injection moulding, vacuum chambers, consolidation ovens, hydrostatic pressure chambers, dedicated long line array assembly facilities, anechoic water test tank and controlled environment test facilities.

Line Array Technologies

We offer line array technologies for towed or static applications.

Line array configurations include analogue and digital system options, low noise, broadband acoustic apertures and various non-acoustic sensor options.

Line Array Hydrophones

In various acceleration cancelling configurations, a range of high quality, high performance line array hydrophones is available with or without an associated J+S low noise, high gain pre-amplifier.

Spherical Hydrophones and Projectors

Standard measurement hydrophones which may also be supplied for use as acoustic projectors.

Normally supplied in polyurethane for convenient user self-termination, they are also available ready terminated, with or without a seperate or fully integrated J+S low noise, high gain pre-amplifier.

Also available in polyethylene.
