Military Interfaces

Utilising the latest FPGA technology and High Speed processors, we have a proven pedigree in the design, development, manufacture, integration and support of interface cards.

Our robust cards and interface units meet the stringent demands of the military environment whilst being supportable in the long-term.

Typically we develop interface cards to enable legacy military in-service equipment to continue communicating with the latest systems.

VME B-Parallel

The VME B-Parallel card implements the Christchurch Standard Interface protocols, providing an interface between a VME host computer and a peripheral device. The card supports two B-Parallel interfaces, which share the same data highway, but have their own independent control highways.

VME S-Cubed

The VME S-Cubed card provides an interface between a VME Host Computer and two S-Cubed serial highways. The card supports two S-Cubed interfaces, which operate independently, allowing the card to be used on a single network if required.

VME IHAU Mk2

The Intelligent Host Adapter Unit (IHAU) is a VME card used to interface Navy Combat equipment to data Transfer Systems compatible with Def Stan 21-24 and 21-28, such as CSH and TWSH. It provides high level easy to use developer instruction commands and performs many of the common functions associated with CSH and TWSH.

Communications Unit Mk3

The Communication Unit (CU) implements the low level Combat System Highway protocols of Def Stan 00-19 and has a Ethernet Interface implementing the Def Stan 21-24 Part 5 open Ethernet Standard.

Combat Systems Highway Interface Unit

The CSH Interface Unit provides "off the shelf" CSH to Ethernet connectivity using open Defence Standards and reduces development through the provision of software libraries, drivers and an API.
