Barnstaple and Aberdeen based J+S Limited has reported record results for the year ended 30 September 2011. Sales were up 27.7% on the prior year to just under £13.3m and operating profit increased by a massive 41% to just under £1.5m.
J+S has recently presented a technical paper at Underwater Defence Technology (UDT), on the Low Profile Array (LPA), a 16mm diameter passive acoustic line array, that can be used to augment sensor capabilities of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV’s).
The conference and combined exhibition, is held annually around Europe, with this year’s held at the Excel centre in London.
J+S has recently exhibited at two major exhibitions in the Far East. In late May the Defence team displayed their products at IMDEX a major show and conference held annually in Singapore and early in June the Oil & Gas team travelled to Kuala Lumpur to exhibit at the Oil & Gas Asia show.
