J+S Race for Life

A team of J+S ladies took on the 5k Barnstaple Race for life this weekend in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Julie, Hazel, Nikki, Linda and Julia from our Barnstaple site raised over £1,200 with more donations still coming in for the Cancer Research UK charity.  The team were driven to participate  in memory of Anne Mahoney, a J+S employee of more than 20 years who sadly passed away last year with cancer.  With other family and friends also diagnosed and lost to this dreadful disease, the J+S ladies were spurred on to raise as much money as possible.
