J+S Ltd wins first Marine Renewables Contract

J+S will provide and install sub-sea connectivity solutions to the cables to enable the wave and tidal energy converter companies trialling their equipment to connect to EMEC’s facilities and onto the national grid.
This contract represents the first success for the recently established Renewable Energy team at Barnstaple, led by General Manager, Chris Napier.
The Barnstaple team is presently marketing sub-sea connectivity solutions and position and load monitoring products to both wave and tidal hub operating companies such as EMEC and to the wave energy converter companies.
Commenting on the contract award, Managing Director, David Jeffries said:
