With our production engineering capability integrating with our manufacturing facility we can work through prototype and pre-production cycles before final manufacture and acceptance.
We have experienced ship fit and support staff to ensure the rapid roll-out of upgrades to the fleet.
Recent examples of our Design and Development Capability include:
- ES800 Echosounder – standard equipment fitted throughout the Royal Navy surface and submarine fleet, designed and developed in-house.
- M Class Frigates Sonar Upgrade – a new transducer designed and manufactured to extend operational life by 15 years and reduce support costs. The sonar upgrade has been rolled out to all M-Class frigates in the Dutch and Belgian navies.
- Electronics Enclosures – full design, test and manufacture of electronic cabinets for naval EW system.
- Instructor Training Desk – a ruggedised computer system for use at sea, utilising COTS components but with additional design features to comply with stringent military specifications.
- Nearfield Acoustic Monitoring System – complete design, test and manufacture of active sonar monitoring equipment.
