Systems Engineering

  • Working closely with customers, our systems experts develop robust deisgn architectures.
  • Requirements are captured and tracked using DOORS.

Electrical / Electronic Engineering

  • Digital - Highly skilled in microprocessor technology, our designers use the latest FPGA, BGA and DSP devices and work in a range of firmware description languages.
  • Analogue - Through expertise in low noise pre-amplifiers and power amplifiers we use off the shelf control systems to compliment bespoke design. We apply electromechanical sensors, drives and control electronics to develop complete systems
  • Enclosure - We develop complex electrical designs for cabinets, including interface and power supply specifications.
  • Power - Design up to 33kV is an integral part of our electrical engineering work. 

Software Engineering

  • Embedded - Real time embedded software design is a key part of our work. We design to Board Support Package (BSP) level, using a variety of programming languages.
  • Human Computer Interface - Developing user-friendly interfaces is essential to our projects.

Mechanical Engineering

  • Structures - From complex missile test stands to equipment enclosures we design and develop a range of structures.
  • Design Draughting - Proficient in Solidworks, our design team is familiar with military drawing package requirements.
  • Materials - Material specialists design and develop tools for hot and cold moulding processes.

Acoustic Engineering

  • Sonar - Approaching design, development and support from a total sonar systems perspective, our extensive techincal experience ranges from mechanical and electrical aspects to equipment installation and trials support.
  • Transducers - From bespoke design to technology insertion, single elements to entire arrays, we provide a turnkey solution for sonar transducer analysis, design and manufacture requirements.
